Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Crewfloor LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("Crewfloor," "we," "us"). They cover the Crewfloor Mac app, the Crewfloor website, and the online workspace that connects them (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, joining a workspace, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Crewfloor for a company or other organization, you agree on its behalf, and you confirm that you're allowed to. In that case "you" means both you and that organization. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What Crewfloor is
Crewfloor gives a team a shared workspace (chat, a company knowledge base we call the "brain," a task board, documents, approvals, meetings, mini-apps, and a 3D office) staffed by AI agents.
The agents run on your Mac, not on our servers. When an agent works, the Crewfloor app on a team member's Mac runs Anthropic's Claude using that person's own Claude subscription or Anthropic API key. Our servers store and sync your workspace. They don't run the AI.
2. Your Claude account and other AI providers
To use agents, each person who lends their Mac to the team needs their own account with Anthropic (a Claude plan or an API key). Your use of Claude is between you and Anthropic and is governed by Anthropic's terms and policies. You're responsible for following them.
We are not responsible for:
- charges Anthropic bills you, including API usage your agents consume;
- Anthropic's usage limits, outages, model changes, or decisions about your account; or
- what Anthropic does with the prompts and data sent to it, which is covered by Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy.
Spending caps, usage displays, and approval thresholds in Crewfloor help you keep costs under control, but they aren't guarantees. Numbers can be delayed or estimated, and a task may go past a limit before it stops. Watch your usage with Anthropic directly.
3. Agents act on your behalf, so review their work
Agents are automated software. They make mistakes. They can misunderstand instructions, produce wrong or incomplete information, and take actions you didn't intend. You're responsible for how you use agents and for everything they do on your behalf, including:
- Work on your Mac. Agents can read and write files, run code and commands, install software (in a sandbox or virtual machine where you've set one up), and use your Mac's resources. The night shift keeps a Mac awake to work while you're away.
- Work in other services. Through the connections you set up (for example GitHub, Google Drive, Slack, Linear, or Stripe), agents can read, create, change, and delete things in those accounts, and send messages there.
- Their output. Code, documents, facts saved to the brain, messages, and anything else an agent produces.
Use the controls Crewfloor gives you: approvals, spending caps, which connections are turned on, and how much of each person's plan is shared. Review important output before relying on it, and keep backups of anything you can't afford to lose. Don't give agents access to accounts, systems, or data you aren't authorized to use, or that you can't afford to have changed.
Don't use Crewfloor to make consequential decisions about people without meaningful human review. That means decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, healthcare, legal matters, or access to essential services. The Service isn't designed or offered as a high-risk AI system for those uses.
4. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account to use Crewfloor. Give us accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 18. The Service is meant for business and professional use.
Each workspace (a "company" in the app) has an owner. The owner and any admins they choose control the workspace: who's invited, everyone's roles, connections, agents, settings, and billing. They can remove members and delete content. If you join someone else's workspace, the content you add to it belongs to that workspace. When you leave or are removed, it generally stays there.
Workspace owners are responsible for their members' use of the Service and for having the right to share any data they bring into their workspace.
5. Your content
"Your Content" is everything you and your agents put into the Service: messages, files, brain facts, documents, tasks, app records, and so on.
- You own Your Content. You give us permission to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display it only as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service for you, and as these Terms or the law require.
- We don't sell Your Content, and we don't use it to train AI models.
- Your Content goes to Anthropic. When an agent works, the relevant parts of Your Content (for example a conversation, brain facts, or a document) are sent from your team member's Mac to Anthropic under that person's account.
- Connection keys are stored encrypted. API keys and secrets you add for connections are stored encrypted and used only to make those connections work.
- Agent files stay on the Mac. Files that agents keep in their working folder stay on that Mac (in
~/Crewfloor) unless someone shares them into the workspace.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to put Your Content into the Service, and that doing so doesn't violate anyone else's rights or any law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service, or let your agents use it, to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- send spam, or access systems or accounts without authorization;
- create or spread malware, attack or probe other systems, or get around security or usage limits (including Anthropic's or any connected service's);
- harass, threaten, defraud, or harm anyone, or produce sexual content involving minors;
- violate Anthropic's usage policies or the terms of any service you connect;
- interfere with the Service or other customers, or overload our infrastructure; or
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service to build a competing product, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.
We may suspend or remove content, connections, agents, or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or put the Service, our customers, or others at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first.
7. Plans, fees, and payment
Crewfloor has a Free plan and paid plans. Current plans and prices are on our website and in the app (Settings → Billing).
- The Free plan is for up to 3 people in a workspace. To add a fourth person, the workspace needs a paid plan.
- Paid plans are priced per person. The Team plan is billed for the number of people in the workspace. When people join or leave, the number billed is updated (usually within a day), and the change is prorated for the rest of the billing period. Agents are never billed as people.
- Add-ons, such as the cloud sandbox, are billed per workspace each month, on top of the plan.
- Billing. Plans and add-ons renew automatically each month or year until canceled, and are charged in advance to the payment method on file through our payment processor, Stripe. The workspace's owners and admins manage billing, and the workspace owner is responsible for its charges.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes. Where we're required to collect sales tax, VAT or similar taxes, they're calculated from the billing address entered at checkout and added to your bill. You're responsible for any other taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.
- Canceling. You can cancel a plan or add-on anytime under Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and it stays available until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid aren't refundable, including for partial periods or unused seats.
- Price changes. We may change prices, with at least 30 days' notice before a change affects your next renewal. If you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect.
- Late payment. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it still can't be collected, the plan or add-on ends, and the workspace returns to the Free plan.
- Free access from us. We may give a workspace a plan or add-on for free, for a set time or until we say otherwise.
- Free plans and trials can change or end. We'll give reasonable notice where we can.
The cloud sandbox add-on
- Fair use. Each size includes a generous amount of sandbox use each month. If a workspace's use goes past what its size includes, its agents can't run code in the cloud sandbox until the next calendar month (UTC) begins, unless an owner or admin has turned on pay as you go. Everything else in Crewfloor keeps working.
- Pay as you go, where we offer it, is off unless an owner or admin turns it on. It lets the workspace keep using the sandbox past what its size includes, billed by use at the end of each month, never more than the monthly limit they set.
- Storage. The sandbox keeps the workspace's repositories and files between sessions. If the add-on ends, they're kept for 30 days in case it comes back, then permanently deleted. Copy anything you need out of it before then.
- Changing size takes effect the next time the sandbox starts.
Your Anthropic charges are separate and are billed by Anthropic, not by us.
8. Our software and intellectual property
We own the Service, including the app, the website, the office and its artwork, and our trademarks. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Crewfloor app on Macs you control, for using the Service under these Terms. The app may update itself automatically, and some features need the latest version.
Mini-apps, code, and documents that you or your agents create in your workspace are Your Content.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service works with services we don't control, including Anthropic, Apple, GitHub, Google, and the connections you choose to add. Your use of those services is governed by their terms. We aren't responsible for them, for how they treat your data, or for changes they make that affect Crewfloor.
10. Early and experimental features
Crewfloor is new and changes often. Some features may be labeled beta, preview, or experimental, or be offered before they're finished. They may change, break, or be removed, and they're provided with even fewer assurances than the rest of the Service.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Crewfloor and delete your account at any time. Workspace owners can delete their workspace.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these Terms, if you fail to pay, if we're required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. If we stop offering the Service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export Your Content.
After an account or workspace is deleted, we delete the associated content from our active systems within a reasonable time, normally 30 days. Copies in backups may last longer until they expire. Sections 3, 5 (the permissions needed to finish deletion), 8 through 15, and any unpaid fees survive the end of these Terms.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy.
We don't promise that the Service or any agent output will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that agents will do only what you intended. AI output can be wrong. You're responsible for checking it before you rely on it.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- No indirect damages. Crewfloor and its owners, employees, and contractors won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. They also won't be liable for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, or for business interruption. This applies even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Agent and third-party actions. We won't be liable for actions taken by agents on your behalf, for charges from Anthropic or other providers, or for anything done in or by a third-party service.
- Cap. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow some of these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
14. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against Crewfloor that arises from Your Content, from your use of the Service (including actions your agents took), from the services you connected, or from your breach of these Terms or the law, you'll defend Crewfloor and cover the resulting damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you control its defense, though we may join with our own counsel at our own expense.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and both of us consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or seek an injunction anywhere to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
Before filing a claim, please contact us and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Crewfloor changes. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or fixes a security issue, in which case it may take effect sooner. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid plan.
17. Other terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any plan details and our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. A separate signed agreement between you and Crewfloor takes priority where the two conflict.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Severability and waiver. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it.
- Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This doesn't apply to your obligation to pay.
- Export and sanctions. You'll comply with U.S. export control and sanctions laws, and you won't use the Service where, or for anyone, those laws prohibit.
- Notices. We may send you notices through the app or to the email on your account. Send notices to us at the address below.
- No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms don't give rights to anyone except you and Crewfloor.
